energy balancing techniques

breathing | grounding | harmony

"If things in your life are out of whack or if you are experiencing a health crisis of any kind - mental, physical, or spiritual - you are experiencing energy that is out of balance. Even if you are not in crisis, but you feel overwhelmed, tired, anxious, melancholy, or rageful, you are experiencing energy that is out of balance. And even if you feel great most of the time, but sometimes you feel completely off, your underlying energy at that moment is out of balance."

Perhaps the most startling premise of energy medicine is that the body's energies are not only intelligent, but that you can engage them in intelligent dialogue that fosters your health.

Each of us is a unique and intricate tapestry of interweaving and dynamic energy. We are mind, body, spirit, and energy.

By being curious about and aware of our energies we can tune into our own energy systems. We can learn to listen to our bodies - they usually send us plenty of messages if there's something out of balance.

We can help ourselves by using simple techniques to clear, ground, and balance our energy system. After a year of training in Eden Energy Medicine, I shall be delighted to share these with you. They have made the world of difference to me!

When your energies are in balance, you are healthy, and you feel good, vibrant, and enthusiastic about life. When your energies are blocked and not in harmony, you feel tired and lethargic, and your immune system is more vulnerable to depression and illness.

Balancing your energies balances your mind.

Emotions in conflict, or following traumatic events, may manifest themselves in our bodies in a variety of ways, such as digestive issues and panic attacks.

When our Fight Flight Freeze stress responses take over, the stress on our energetic system is huge. This disrupts our own health, and in turn has an inevitable effect on all our relationships with others.

Sometimes we are drained by negative energy around us, from people, from the atmosphere, and from the many electronic gadgets to which we are glued.

There are simple, powerful, exercises for those occasions when we could do with a boost of confidence, when we're feeling confused, fearful, drained, scrambled, clumsy, exhausted, out of sorts.

Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony. Thomas Merton.
